This listing is for a replacement Fiat Grande Punto electric power steering column which will resolve common problems relating to power steering failure. This Electric Power Steering (EPS) column is a very common failure for the Fiat Grande Punto built from 2005 onwards. Normally the fault will cause the power steering to become heavy in one direction, often intermittently to begin with. This will make the vehicle very difficult to manoeuvre.

The fault usually starts out as intermittent but always becomes permanent with time and will log fault codes including C1001 and C1002. Steering heavy in one direction. Intermittent loss of power assisted steering.
